Rang Rasiya: Directed by Ketan Mehta, Raja Ravi Varma's biopic stars Randeep Hooda and Nandana Sen. After being stuck in controversies for long, the film is expected to be released this year. 

After 'The Dirty Picture', which was losely based on the life of Tamil actress Silk Smitha, another film is being planned on her life. According to reports, Vinu Chakravarthy who introduced Silk to the film industry is planning to make her biopic now. 

Hollywood actress Naomi Watts is all set to star as Lady Diana in 'Caught in Flight', a new drama about the last two years of the princess' life. Meryl Streep starrer 'The Iron Lady' is a biopic of Margaret Thatcher, the longest serving Prime Minister of the United Kingdom of the 20th century. 

Marilyn Monroe: 'My Week with Marilyn' is a biographical film. It focuses on the week in which Marilyn spent time being escorted around Britain by Clark (Redmayne), after her husband, Arthur Miller Scott, left the country. Reportedly, singer Amy Winehouse's family has given a nod to her biopic. Winehouse died of alcohol poisoning on 23 July 2011. She was 27.

Aamir, Kareena and Rani in 'Talaash'

Here's a sneak peek in to the much awaited 'Talaash'. 'Talaash' is directed by Reema Kagti. The movie is supposed to be a psychological thriller which is written by Reema Kagti as well. 'Taalsh' just released its teaser trailer on January 26th.The movie is jointly produced by Excel Entertainment and Aamir Khan Productions. The tentative release date is June 1, 2012. The movie stars Aamir Khan in the lead role. Kareena and Rani Mukerji play the female leads in the movie. After 'Sarfarosh' Aamir is going to be seen again in the role of a cop. As the story goes - In an interview Kagti revealed that prior to casting Aamir Khan as the film's main protagonist, she had initially approached him with another project.That project however did not work out - but 'Talaash' clicked for them. Since the pre-production, the project has faced several speculations regarding its title. Finally on November 11, 2011, Khan confirmed that the film was titled Talaash. Apparently, prior to the start of principal photography, the actors were required to attend acting workshops and sign a non-disclosure agreement. The screenplay is by Reema Kagti and Zoya Akhtar. The movie has been primarily shot in Mumbai and parts of it in Pondicherry. The under water scene has been shot in a water studio in London. 'Taalash' released its first look poster on January 25th and it is the first digital poster in Bollywood.

Sonakshi's steamy photoshoot in Sri Lanka

Just one film old Sonakshi Sinha is 'Getting Back to Basics' in L'Officiel's photo shoot in Sri Lanka. The Dabangg actor was spotted shooting for the L'Officiel magazine in Sri Lanka. Sonakshi Sinha has not been seen on silver screen since September 10, 2010 but her confident performance in 'Dabangg' has left the audiences waiting for her next celluloid appearance. Sonakshi's 'Rowdy Rathore' will hit the screens in June, 2012. Sonakshi has seven films lined up to be released in the next year, out of which at least five have either reached the shooting or the post production stage. Her rich film kitty suggests that Sonakshi could be one of the foremost contenders of the top heroine slot in the next year. She will start the year with 'Rowdy Rathore' starring opposite Akshay Kumar. The initial handmade posters of the film have generated enthusiasm among the fans. Sinha will feature in her first 3 D film 'Joker' in the later half of the year. This Shirish Kunder flick will again showcase the dusky beauty with Akshay Kumar. nha and has two brothers, Luv Sinha and Kussh Sinha. Dabangg went on to become one of the highest grossing Bollywood films of all time.

Lara sizzles in Blue

Actress Lara Dutta has lost oodles of weight for her bikini look in upcoming flick Blue. The actress plays a scuba diver in the film.

Besides thrill and action, Lara-Sanjay’s underwater romance will be a big draw for the film.

Blue is apparently Bollywood's first film to have been shot underwater.

Film's director Anthony D’Souza has used latest techniques to give it an international look.

Reports are that it is one of the most expensive films of Bollywood.

The director has shot a romantic song with Sanjay and Lara, which is composed by music maestro AR Rahman. This will be Rahman's second score this year after the hit Delhi-6.

The film was shot in Bahamas and besides Sanjay Dutt, Akshay Kumar's presence adds thrill to the scene.

Lara says she has worked very hard to get the look of the character she is playing in Blue.

The Partner actress, who was last seen in a de-glam avataar in Billu, said she underwent a strict diet and training regime for this perfect look.

Lara had to learn swimming and diving for the film. Before Blue, she was skeptical for any role which required her to swim.

The underwater action is the main attraction which required immense shooting techniques.

Besides her glamorous appearance, Lara Dutta says that her fans have also accepted her in a comic role.
